Arrival of costumes

Our costumes arrived on the wednesday, Saskia and Ella tried on some of the costumes in our group to get a sense of size in case we needed to make returns.

Saskia tried the heels for the dancers and found them to fit well. However, this was a problem because Saskia is a size 5 shoe and the shoe was a size 6 meaning that the shoe would be too tight on the dancers. 

We got the dancers to try on the shoes but the shoe's were oddly big for them, this meant it would be difficult to dance in them;because their feet are not secure in the shoe. Instead of returning the shoes, which would be an additonal cost. We will use the heels for the silhouette wheel and screen. For the dance sequence we will find another pair of shoes that fit the dancers perfectly and have a strap so that their feet are held in the shoe when they dance. 

We thought that the pants for the dancers worked perfectly and the cut out flared pants for the lead singer.

 

            

We also thought that he white mesh skirt and white crop top worked well with the lead singer.

We did find that the lead singers pants were slightly long, however this could be corrected by sewing the bottom of the pant and wearing high heels.

For the cost of the costumes we decided to split the cost amongst the 3 of us so that it is a fair contribution from everyones behalf.
