Editing our Website After Feedback

After having recieved our feedback we decided to review our website to look at any changes we could do to improve the desgin of the website. One of the main areas we focused on was on the homepage, because we had created the website on a Macbook Pro using Google Chrome, if the website was opened on Internet Explorer the entire layout of the homepage became scrambled and all the social media links were jumbled across the screen. Therefore, we decided to move the social media buttons lower down on the homepage, in order to prevent the scrammbling of the website across different internet browsers. It also created space on the homepage and made it look cleaner and less messy.

We then also added a light box (image below) that would open across the screen as soon as you entered the website. This would welcome the audience to the website and make them aware of our artist's new album. This would be a quick and easy way to market the album of our artist without the viewer even going through the website.

Even though, we made some changes it was not as difficult to alter our website as it was to alter the editing of our music video or digipak. This is because the oline software we used to create our website 'Wix' was easy to use. Additonally, the website was the last product we created for our music campaign, therefore by this time we had a solid idea and understanding of our artists star image. This made it easier to construct the artists representation on our website.
